She has authored over 800 medical and fitness articles for the dozens of publications and for several medical media programs.
She currently serves as an advisory board member for Lifewaves International, where she is a central player in a public education campaign about the associated health benefits of its revolutionary fitness program.
A cardiac specialist R.N., she supervised cardiac rehabilitation units and opened the nation's first hospital-based wellness center in 1981 at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Los Angeles.
She serves on numerous advisory boards and professional societies, including the Society for Medical Anthropology, American Holistic Nurses Association, National Wellness Association, California Association of Naturopathic Physicians, National Fitness Leaders Association, the California Institute of Integral Studies, Exercise Malpractice Reporter, Health Medicine Forum, and ValleyCare Health System, multi-hospital system in the Bay Area (Northern California).
